Premium Brisbane's kitesurfing school Surf Connect is here to cater for all your needs for windsurfing, kitesurfing or Stand-Up Paddling. If you do not want to get wet, you can try land-buggying with us, or have a try at the Blokart (most efficient land cart in the world!). Land-SUPping is taking off too, and we have a wide range of longboards to electric skateboards in stock.
Surf Connect is the only accredited Wind & Kitesurfing School in Brisbane. We have 16 instructors at our school and are affiliated to Yachting Australia and the International Kiteboarding Organisation. The Brisbane Standup Paddle Club and the Brisbane Windsurfing Club are also based at our centre, and we run all of the Brisbane City Council's Wind, Kite and SUP programs.
We also offer accommodation (from dorm room at $30 a night to independent resort apartment at $160 a night). Airport/hotel pick-ups, and sight seeing tours in and around Brisbane, Sunshine and the Gold Coast can also be arranged. Make a great holiday to Brisbane for yourself and your family!
Our centre is located right on the beach at Sandgate and you can get here by public transport (half hour direct train ride from city central). Lots of local shops (Woolworths, Coffee Shop, Chemists) and banks within a short walking distance. Fish and chips shop 50m to our shop. Hot showers, toilets, storage, internet stations, you cannot ask for a more ideal centre. Our shop is stocked with all toys, from windsurfing, Kitesurfing, standup paddling, wakeboarding, waterskis, electric skateboards, long boards, one line/two line delta kites, clothing, wetsuits, remote control helicopters, GoPro cameras, GPS, Thule Roof Racks. Anything you need for the sports, you name it, we have it.
